Description
Replacement rubber bush for lateral rod bush. Damage to the lateral rod bush may lead to steering wheel shake or vibration (Simmy judder phenomenon). Please use this when replacing the bush of the Apio rubber bush type lateral rod.
The new type of lateral rod bush has a rubber volume increased by about 17% and hardness increased by about 8% compared to the conventional product.
Since the density of rubber is very high, it is hard to peel off from the metal part, the durability is improved, it is strong against settling and it is hard to break.
New type: Hardness 70 degrees (approx. 8% higher than the old product)
Old type: Hardness 65 degrees
Pure: Hardness 65 degrees
The thickness of the outer case has been increased by reducing the thickness of the bush inner collar compared to conventional products. This makes it easier than ever to attach and detach with a press.
The outer case has become thicker, but by changing the inner collar to an appropriate thickness, the volume of rubber is not impaired, and by increasing the rubber density with a special manufacturing method, the volume inside the case is increased by 17%. I succeeded in doing so. (The volume/volume does not include the amount of rubber protruding from the case.)
* A press machine is required to replace the bush.
