The overall thickness is 2.0 mm, but for the rounded part of the rocker panel, which is the easiest to hit, an additional 2.0 mm iron plate is attached to the backside to increase the strength.
The total weight is lighter than making the whole thickness 4.0 mm, and the parts that are easy to hit are firmly guarded.
